AE Annual Benefit Show



In the years preceding 2012 a group of Advanced Employment staff began cultivating the idea of hosting an event to raise awareness about our company and to raise funds to aid our efforts of supporting our clients. After much consideration, the decision was made to host the first ever AE drag show benefit, and with the help of Club Five and the staff members who proposed the show, our first show was a success! Starting out small, each year since, this event has grown and the entertainment has never failed to surprise and impress.

Each year we celebrate diversity and inclusion at the Advanced Employment’s annual benefit show. All funds raised go directly to the agency to help us continue our mission to develop and maintain employment and vocational services for adults with special needs in Dane County. Our last show saw over 200 guests and raised upwards of $6,500! We are incredibly grateful to all that have attended as well as those that have participated in the show. Each year we charge a small cover for those attending, and offer tables for purchase on a first come, serve basis. Guests are urged to stay and enjoy the drag show put on by the many talented performers that volunteer their services, and take part in the raffle full of wonderful prizes donated by various individuals and local business! Guests 21 and older are welcome to purchase beverages from Five Nightclub at the bar or support our clients by purchasing jello-shots served by our own staff!

Our benefit show is typically held on the first or second weekend of November. More information about the event will be posted here or on our Facebook page closer to its date this year.
